The RT3x7x series integrates a CMOS RF Front end, MAC, Baseband and USB interface into a single-chip. They fully comply with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n and IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards, featuring rich wireless connectivity at high speed, delivering reliable throughput from an extended distance. Ralink’s optimized RF architecture and patented baseband algorithms provide superb performance with low power consumption.

The RT3572 provides high-performance 802.11n solutions in a small form-factor, and integrates not only the dual-band CMOS radios, BBP and MAC but also power management and interface circuits into a single chip. Being one of the industry’s smallest USB single chip solutions, the RT3572 is ideally suited for USB-equipped consumer electronics and wireless embedded systems.

The RT3572 integrates multiple security engines on-chip, including WPA, WPA2, Wi-Fi Protected Set-Up and QoS (802.11e and WMM), enabling a rich feature set to support different security modes of operation required for voice, video and data transmission. In combination with RT3662, the latest 2x3 802.11n SoC featuring Ralink’s Video Turbine™ technology, the company is well poised for the fast-growing market of connected multimedia CE devices delivering high-quality voice, data and video within the wireless networks in the home or office.
