A Guide to Picking Your Ultimate Chromebook Education Device
In a previous blog we talked about the “Six Factors To Consider When Choosing Your 2023 Education Chromebook”. In this blog we will provide guidance on which Chromebook devices are best for K12 students and which are best for teachers.
For K12 students we recommend Chromebook devices that are durable, have spill and drop protection, are secure, environmentally sustainable, and provide high-performance and long battery life.
Look for Chromebooks that last for 11 hours or more for young kids and elementary school students, and Chromebooks that last 15 hours or more for middle and high school students. Long battery life fosters a seamless learning experience as it allows students to focus on learning and at the same time it relieves teachers from the stress of monitoring the battery life of each of their students’ devices.
We also recommend devices that provide high-performance capabilities for better multitasking and collaboration so students can have a smooth learning experience when they use video conferencing tools (i.e., Meet or Zoom), video editing tools such as KineMaster, the 3D simulation Tinkercad, and other available tools.
The K12 Chromebook devices that meet the criteria above and that we recommend for students are the following:
