ADLINK releases the first premium IoT SMARC module powered by MediaTek Genio 1200

ADLINK has launched the first SMARC module featuring the new MediaTek Genio 1200 SoC, empowering the Edge with up to 5 TOPS of AI performance and new capabilities in advanced 3D graphics, 4K displays and superfast connectivity.

The ADLINK SMARC 2.1 module harnesses an octa-core CPU (4x Arm Cortex-A78 + 4x Arm Cortex-A55) that's ready to run compute-intensive workloads, a 5-core GPU for advanced 3D graphics, and a MediaTek APU (AI Processor Unit) for on-device AI processing, such as deep learning, neural network (NN) acceleration, and computer vision. This module is ready for applications in advanced smart home, human machine interface, 4K multimedia applications, to industrial IoT, robotics, and much more.

Carrier boards can tap into the module's 3x 4-lane MIPI CSI, HDMI and DSI display outputs, USB 2/3 and PCIE Gen-3. The Module itself includes a generous 256GB of storage and 8GB of memory onboard. For industrial IoT, the module can withstand wide operating temperatures from -40° to 85°C, and has a 10-year product commitment.
