BLU G9 Pro launches, powered by MediaTek Helio P60

Smartphone brand, BLU, has launched its G9 Pro, powered by the MediaTek Helio P60. The P60 provides a powerful mix of hardware including a 2GHz octa-core CPU with four high-performance, Arm-Cortex Big cores and four, small and efficient ones for a best-of-both approach. This is paired to an 800MHz Arm Mali-G72-class graphics core and multi-core AI processing unit (APU), providing great graphics and dedicated AI processing for things like face unlocking, AI-camera and OS enhancements.
BLU partners the P60 with 4GB of LPDDR4X memory, and a generous 128GB of storage that's further expandable via microSD card. The large 4,000mAh battery has both 10W wireless charging and 18W quick-charging, giving you easy battery boosts when you need the extra juice.
Its vivid 6.3-inch display with FullHD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution delivers a sharp and impressive image. Despite the tiny teardrop notch there's a big 24MP wide-angle front camera nested inside capable of snapping large pics of groups or the whole family. At the back the G9 Pro mixes a 16MP primary camera with fast f/1.8 lens, plus a 20MP with faster f/1.78 "night mode" camera aimed at improving low-light snaps and a 5MP camera dedicated to depth sensing for portrait pics.
BLU G9 Pro tapped the P60's support for dual 4G SIM slots - one of the few options available in the North American market - which allows users the freedom to choose carriers for their call/data needs, while also getting a consistent experience and the option of VoLTE/ViLTE from either connection.
BLU keeps the headphone jack and ships the G9 Pro with Android 9, with a promise to of 10 on the way and 2 years of security patches.
