HTC Wildfire X launches with MediaTek Helio P22 inside

The HTC Wildfire X is now available in India; it's powered by the fast and efficient MediaTek Helio P22 and runs Android Pie out the box. The MediaTek Helio P22 includes a fast 2GHz octa-core processor plus powerful IMG PowerVR GE8320-class graphics. The Wildfire X has two options of memory and storage: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/128GB, plus a microSD slot for extra storage expansion of up to 256GB. Its large 3,330mAh battery has a 10W fast-charge adapter included.

The Wildfire X has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with large 88.8% screen-to-body ratio and small, plus central notch housing the 8MP selfie camera. At the back it offers three more cameras plus fingerprint sensor and has a "3D OPVD mirror finish" in Sapphire Blue. The rear three cameras include a 12MP main camera, 8MP telephoto with lossless 2x optical zoom and 5MP depth sensor for snapping great portrait shots.

The P22 includes Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and photographic accelerators in its hardware that aid low-light performance, noise reduction and clear-image zoom. Also included is Instant Auto Exposure (AE) with accurate point focusing, which is powered by a dedicated Camera Control Unit.

The WildFire X bundles an accessory called "MyBuddy", which can trigger loud alarms and transmit real-time audio and video of its surroundings when in dangerous situations, in addition to sharing your live location with family and friends. If the phone is lost MyBuddy can also attempt to locate it.
