JBL Bar 5.1 powered by MediaTek

The JBL Bar 5.1 is a premium, 5.1-Channel Soundbar with True Wireless Surround Speakers. Despite its slim size it's capable of producing 510W of audio power that delivers a room-filling, high-quality audio performance for your movies and music. The soundbar set includes detachable, battery-powered wireless speakers and a large 10-inch (250mm) subwoofer.

It supports HDMI ARC with three inputs, one output, the option of analog and optical inputs, and also wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth-connected devices.

JBL chose a MediaTek MT8516 to power its Bar 5.1. The MT8516 is a highly efficient and deeply integrated platform featuring a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex application processor, extensive interface options that specialize on audio processing, voice assistant options with an array microphone, and integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
