KODAK picks MediaTek Helio X20 to power its EKTRA camera-focused smartphone

Kodak has recently launched a new smartphone, called the Ektra, which features an incredible steel-rimmed lens, textured finish and premium materials. It's a unique Android smartphone that takes its photography duties seriously. 

It's chosen the MediaTek Helio X20 as its core platform, incorporating its powerful tri-cluster, 10-core processor, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and MediaTek expertise in digital display technologies, such as MiraVision, to mix with its own expertise in photography and digital processing.

The Kodak Ektra offers a 21MP f/2 Aperture main camera with Kodak non-reflective lens coating and Optical Image Stabilization and Auto Focus. Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and  HDR Imaging. On the front, a 13MP camera is ready for great selfies.

Shooting 4K video is further enhanced with Kodak's classic film grain, vignettes and Super 8 filter effects.

Its 5" Full HD IPS display affords a pin-sharp 441 ppi (1920 x 1080 resolution) and there's Corning Gorilla Glass Screen & Lens protection. Weanwhile inside a large 3000 mAh battery, 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage which is further expandable with MicroSD cards.
