LG K12+ featuring MediaTek Helio P22

The LG K12+ was recently launched in Brazil, and it features the MediaTek Helio P22 inside. This 5.7-inch smartphone offers plenty of features, including advanced AI-camera enhancements and premium DTS:X 3D surround sound through the 3.5mm headphone socket.

The MediaTek Helio P22 provides a powerful, 2.0GHz octa-core CPU with PowerVR GE8320-class graphics and fast memory support. Built using the highly-efficient 12nm FinFET production process, the P22 perfectly balances great performance with a long battery life.

At the front of the K12+ an 8MP selfie camera and front-facing flash sits above the HD+ display, while at the back a 16MP camera, flash and fingerprint sensor are housed within a choice of Moroccan Blue, Platinum Gray, and Black color options.

Beyond the mega-pixels, the P22's impressive camera credentials mean you can always snap the perfect pics. Its Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) has been upgraded with a new Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) engine, which together cleverly mitigates warped (‘jello effect’) video when capturing fast action or panning. Other enhancements baked-in include ClearZoom, Instant AE and incredible low-light performance.

The 32GB storage can be expanded via microSD card, and the K12+ features Android 8.1 Oreo out the box. Thanks to its MIL-STD 810G certification it's also highly durable, making it a great choice for those who need something sturdy in everyday life, activities like cycling or hiking, or as a reliable secondary handset.
