LG X6 launches in South Korea with Helio P22

LG has launched its new X6 mid-range smartphone in South Korea. It's MIL-STD 810G certified design is ideal for users who need devices to live up to hardy environments as the certification means it's undergone testing extreme-conditions.

The LG X6 features a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a small dewdrop notch that houses, which the front-facing 13MP camera and speaker. The design keeps the bezels small with a small 'chin' at the bottom so you can rest the your palm without touching the display. On the side the X6 adds a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side for quick and convenient access to the virtual assistant.

Inside the X6 you'll find a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chip that can boost clock-speeds up to a fast 2GHz, yet its 12nm design means it's also super efficient. LG pairs this to 3GB of memory and 64GB of storage.

At the back there's a choice of either Moroccan Blue or Aurora Black color styling along with its horizontally aligned triple rear camera array. The cameras mix a 16MP primary camera, 5MP wide-angle camera with 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP used for depth sensing when capturing portrait shots. The wide variety of cameras provides users with great freedom to capture whatever they want, without needing to consider more expensive phones. The MediaTek Helio P22's advanced ISP and camera accelerators built-in provide high performance, low power hardware for capturing photos and video in any conditions.

A 32-bit DAC and support for multi-channel DTS:X provides high-definition audio credentials, while an ample 3,500mAh battery, modern connectivity features and ever useful headphone jack rounds things off.
