MediaTek and Portrait Displays collaborate on color calibration technologies in Smart TVs

MediaTek and Portrait Displays have announced a partnership that will enhance MediaTek Smart TV platforms with Portrait Displays Calman Ready technology. Together this will provide realistic and authentic visual imagery, taking the scenery straight from the director’s lens into viewers’ living rooms.

Portrait Displays’ Calman Ready technology addresses color variations from different types of display panels, while MediaTek is the world’s number 1 Smart TV platform provider by sales. Together it enables global display and smart TV device manufacturers (OEMs) the ability to offer their customers a seamless path to accurate color calibration.
