MediaTek fully invested in Taiwan business

On November 13, 2022, Reuters published a headline about MediaTek that misrepresented CEO Rick Tsai’s statements about the business, which has since been updated. MediaTek is not “moving away” from chip manufacturing in Taiwan in any way, shape or form. The company is fully invested in Taiwan and in its current business relationships while expanding globally. As MediaTek’s business grows and expands, the company will continue to invest in additional areas.
