MediaTek M80 5G modem wins the Innovative Breakthrough in Mobile Technology Award at the GTI Awards 2022

At the recent GTI Awards 2022, MediaTek twice won recognition for its M80 5G modem. The GTI Awards program aims to acknowledge achievements and successes of cellular industry businesses across a wide range of market segments.

Firstly, the MediaTek M80 received the Innovative Breakthrough in Mobile Technology Award. This award recognizes companies that provide notable cellular network infrastructure, devices, chipsets, modules, and test systems. Innovative Breakthrough in Mobile Technology Award entries are judged on aspects including the extent of meeting GTI operators' needs, innovativeness, advantages, market potential, sustainability, impact on and leverage of technology.

Secondly, the MediaTek M80 also received the Outstanding Award, which recognizes those with outstanding contributions to the industry and GTI.
