MediaTek wins “IoT Semiconductor Company of the Year” at the 2022 IoT Breakthrough Awards

MediaTek has won the “IoT Semiconductor Company of the Year” in the IoT Component category at the 2022 IoT Breakthrough Awards.

The IoT Breakthrough Awards are an independent organization that evaluates the world's best companies, technologies, products and people in IoT.

As a previous winner of the award in 2019, MediaTek is continuing strong investment through our IoT program that brings together our expertise in both AI and IoT in several platforms designed for a wide range of applications; plus our connectivity-focused NB-IoT platforms, as well as specialized chips for M2M, location tracking and wearables.

The IoT industry is projected to become a US$1.1 trillion industry by next year, and by 2030 it is expected to add 14.2 Trillion into the global economy.
