MediaTek x Discovery | Chasing Breakthrough

Discovery and MediaTek have collaborated on Chasing Breakthrough, which will premiere on the Discovery Channel on May 21 at 8.05pm. Featuring both the people and nature of the Guilin Province in China, this visually stunning short documentary is in-part captured using a smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300, flagship 5G smartphone platform.

Follow the Yangshuo Volunteer Rescue Team, led by renowned wilderness rescue expert and rock climber, Sun Ling Ye, as they perform rigorous real-life simulations and drills to hone their skills. Watch as their resilience and team-working skills are tested under extreme pressure.

The documentary demonstrates to the world their passion for rock climbing, the importance of teamwork, and the respect and preservation of the local environment.
