Meizu PRO 7 Plus powered by Helio X30

The Meizu PRO 7 (5.2-inch) and Pro 7 Plus (5.7-inch) are powered by MediaTek Helio P25 and Helio X30 respectively, marking the first commercial availability of a Helio X30 smartphone.

Both devices feature a uniquely 1.9-inch AMOLED touch-screen display on the rear side that can show the time, music, weather, notifications, a custom wallpaper, or it can even help you shoot a selfie by showing you what the 12+12 MP rear (Sony IMX386) dual cameras see. This means you can get more selfie options from the wide + telephoto lenses, like a Depth of Field effect. But that's not to say the front facing isn't great; its large 16MP sensor with ƒ/2.0 wide aperture, 5P lens is better than many other smartphone rear cameras!

Advanced effects such as ArcSoft® beautification algorithms, adaptive skin beauty technology and Face AE smart adjustment for face brightness, are powered by the dedicated VPU (Vision Processor Unit), which uses a fraction of the power versus CPU/GPU processing.

The Helio X30 has the '10/10/10' trifecta of 10-processors (in three clusters of ARM Cortex A72, A53 and A35) built on the latest 10nm fabrication process and it has MediaTek's latest 4G LTE Cat-10 modem for worldwide cellular connectivity.

This leading-edge 10nm technology can save up to 40% power and boosts performance up to 22% over previous 16nm generation products, while MediaTek's CorePilot 4.0 helps sustain a smooth user experience with its centralized, Intelligent Task Scheduling, Thermal Management and user experience monitoring to optimize processor, frequency and voltage selection, which minimizes power use.

Both the Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus are feature-max smartphones, with a Full HD or 2560 x 1440 display (Plus) Super AMOLED displays, 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, large capacity, ultra-fast UFS storage and up to a huge 3,500mAh battery (Plus), USB-C and even a 3.5mm headphone jack.
