Micromax has launched its new 'IN' series of smartphones, powered by MediaTek. Designed and made in India, the affordable IN 1b is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 and uses MediaTek HyperEngine gaming technology. The G35 includes a fast octa-core CPU up to 2.3GHz plus a IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU up to 680MHz.

The 6.52-inch smartphone with HD+ display includes a mini drop 8MP selfie camera in the top lip. At the back, dual cameras mix a 13MP AI-camera with dedicated depth sensor for great quality bokeh captures. A choice of blue, purple and green colors are available, and the smartphone uses native Android without customization.

A generous 5,000mAh battery (typical) provides up to 15 hours of call time, 8 hours of YouTube streaming and 4 weeks on standby (Micromax testing), and the smartphone also even offers reverse charging capability via USB-C for other devices.

Users can use the fast and secure AI Face Unlock or the fingerprint sensor nestled into the center of the rear side, while a dedicated Google Assistant hardware button is ready to help out a finger flick away.

Dual 4G SIM with VoLTE and VoWiFi is provided by the G35 chip, along with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 for fast and reliable local internet connectivity.
