Micromax launches IN note 1, powered by MediaTek Helio G85

Micromax has launched its new 'IN' series of smartphones, powered by MediaTek. Designed and made in India, the new IN note 1 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 and uses MediaTek HyperEngine gaming technology. The G85 provides two big Arm cores up to 2GHz in its octa-core CPU, plus a blazing 1GHz GPU.

The 6.67-inch smartphone with FullHD+, all-screen display and tiny punch hole 16MP selfie camera showcases a distinctly modern style in either green or white. At the back four cameras mix a 48MP AI-camera, 5MP wide angle 115º camera, plus macro and dedicated depth sensor. Note-ably, the IN note 1 ships with native Android, without customization.

A generous 5,000mAh battery (typical) provides up to 70 hours of call time, 12 hours of web-browsing and 100 hours of music (Micromax testing). An 18W fast charger is included in the box and the smartphone also offers reverse charging capability via USB-C to juice other devices.

Dual 4G SIM with VoLTE and VoWiFi is provided via the G85 chip, along with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 for fast and reliable local internet connectivity.
