MT2533D: Smart Headsets, Headphones and Hands-Free

The new MT2533D is an IOT SoC designed for applications like wireless headphones for sports, travel or general out-and-about use and in-vehicle hands-free systems. For the latter, its Digital Signal Processor (DSP) has native Dual Microphone Noise Reduction (DMNR) technology integrated and supports third-party software for a voice activated wake-up command.

It has its own local MP3 playback capacity, making music playback possible without the need to pair a smartphone or in-car entertainment, freeing you from carrying extra devices - that's particularly useful for fitness and sports. Using the support for up to 4GB of storage it can store several hundred MP3s to keep you going through your exercise session.

Inside, the MT2533D combines an audio Analog Front End (AFE) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with an energy-efficient ARM Cortex-M4 processor, 4MB memory (PSRAM and flash) and dual-mode Bluetooth (2.1 and 4.2 Low Energy) radio that connects it to other devices.
