Nokia 2.3 powered by MediaTek Helio A22
The Nokia 2.3 is its latest entry-level Nokia Android smartphone, and it's powered by the MediaTek Helio A22. The A22 is a 2GHz quad-core chip with IMG PowerVR-class graphics and MediaTek NeuroPilot support for its AI-enhancements. It's 12nm manufacturing process combined with MediaTek CorePilot control means this tiny chip is also ultra-power efficient.
The Nokia 2.3 features a 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution and tall 19:9 ratio also. Upgrades over the previous 2.2 are the dual-camera setup, bigger 4,000mAh battery and latest Bluetooth 5. The large battery is also backed by AI-assisted power-savings technology that provides up to 2-day battery life.
The 13 MP main camera and supporting depth sensor get AI-support for enhanced portrait mode and low light imaging, while the 'recommended shot' function helps choose the best picture from an automated burst. At the front a 5MP selfie-camera features AI-backed, secure face unlock. On the side a dedicated Google Assistant button can easily trigger the voice assistant service for tasks.
Its 32GB internal storage can be boosted by large microSD cards up to 512GB, while models with dual 4G SIM are also available in some regions, ensuring the best connectivity from both data connections. Available in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal, the 3D nano-textured cover means its easy to grip and looks great. Nokia ships its 2.3 as an Android One device that offers the native Google experience without customization.
