Hot on the heels of the octa-cored MT6753-powered Eluga Ray 7000, the Eluga I4 has also arrived in India, powered by the MT6737. As an entry-4G device, it's highly affordable, yet still offers a powerful mix of quad-core of 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 at up to 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 graphics and Cat-4 LTE that supports essential VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi and RCS technologies and dual-SIM slots.

The Panasonic Eluga I4 has a metallic body with finger print reader, and a 5-inch HD display overlapped with 2.5D curved glass. In addition to the power efficient MT6737 it also comes with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and (separate to its SIM slots) microSD expansion up to 128 GB. There's an 8 MP rear camera with quad-LED flash and 5MP selfie cam at the front. It's large 3,000 mAh battery should also deliver a sound all-day-plus use. On the software front there's Android 7.0 Nougat and Panasonic's new AI assistant named ARBO.
