Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 820

The Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G are both powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 820, bringing incredible performance and integrated 5G to both premium smartphones.

The Dimensity 820 features an octa-core CPU with four, premium performance Arm Cortex-A76 processors that operate up to 2.6GHz, plus a powerful 5-core GPU with MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 gaming technologies, a MediaTek APU 3.0 dedicated AI processor and comprehensive 5G modem with MediaTek 5G UltraSave technologies, all integrated into a tiny 7nm chip.

Common features to both 10X versions include are 6.57-inch AMOLED displays with FullHD+ resolution with HDR10+ visuals and MiraVision enhancements, plus an in-display fingerprint sensor. The 180Hz touchscreen response rate means it’s got super-fast reactions for gaming. Both phones are available with memory and storage options up to 8GB and 256GB, respectively and are powered by a generous 4,520mAh battery, with the 10X Pro featuring premium 33W charging that will boost its battery up to 58% in just half an hour.

Cellular connectivity includes comprehensive full 2G-5G coverage, plus 5G+5G dual SIM, following MediaTek’s leadership in dual SIM technology enablement, giving users greater choice and access to 5G speeds and VoNR calls from either connection. Local wireless connections can be made using Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, while the 10X Pro also includes NFC.

In addition to innate MediaTek Imagiq enhancements provided by the Dimensity 820, the Redmi 10X Pro provides slightly more capture choices with its four rear cameras mixing a 48MP main camera, 8MP wide angle, 8MP with OIS and up to 30X zoom, and 5MP macro camera. At the front there’s a super-sized 20MP camera for selfies. Meanwhile the 10X features a three camera setup of 48MP sensor, plus wide angle camera and another dedicated for depth sensing in portrait pics and videos, while at the front there's a 16MP snapper.

Other notable Redmi 10X series features include its MIUI 12 software, IP53 splash resistance, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
