Reports show Amazon Fire TV 4K powered by MediaTek

Amazon recently launched its Fire TV Stick 4K, which means you, your friends and family can simply plug-in and enjoy easy access to 4K UltraHD content with the latest audio and visual enhancements like Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

Enjoy Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, STARZ, SHOWTIME, CBS All Access, and others. Now, using Firefox or Amazon Silk browsers, you can visit millions of websites like YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit, and hear songs, playlists, live radio stations, and podcasts through services like Amazon Music, Spotify, and iHeartRadio. Media reports have shown [1] [2] the Fire TV Stick 4K has the latest MediaTek chipset inside - the MT8695 is the industry’s first 12nm SoC designed for 4K streaming in a dongle form factor. It's paired to 1.5 GB of DDR4 memory — a 50 percent increase over past Fire TV Stick models — with 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity and a micro USB port for power.
