Samsung Galaxy C8 launches in China

The Samsung Galaxy C8 has just launched for the Chinese market, and following the new facial recognition trend it's the latest smartphone to include the technology in addition to the more usual finger-print unlock.

The Galaxy C8 features a premium octa-core Helio P25 at its core, with a large 3,000mAh battery and either 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB memory/storage combinations, with added microSD upgradability. Its 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display has a low power always-on function for displaying time, calendar or notifications.

The Helio P25 enables a rear dual camera setup that mixes a 13MP (f/1.7) color and a secondary 5MP (f/1.9) mono cameras for great HDR and low-light photography. At front, there's a large 16MP (f/1.9) sensor for selfies. The rear dual cameras have a 'Dual Photo' mode that allows users to adjust the focus even after taking the photo.

You can grab the Galaxy C8 in either Black, Gold, or Pink.
