The Vivo S1 has launched in China and India featuring the MediaTek Helio P70 inside - offering a powerful octacore CPU that mixes Arm Cortex A73/A53 cores, plus fast Arm Mali-G72-class graphics that's great for gaming and a dedicated, dual-core AI processor with efficient multi-threading engine. On-top of this powerful performance, Vivo adds its own Game Turbo technology that specifically boosts gameplay even more.

The 6.5-inch smartphone provides a 90.95% full coverage display, giving the largest view for apps, snaps, videos and games, while its Full HD+ display means visuals are crisp and sharp.

Selfie fans will love the 25MP pop-up camera, while at the back its triple camera setup consists of a 12MP regular camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle and 5MP dedicated to depth sensing. Vivo puts the P70's APU (AI processing unit) to good use with its AI-camera software such as AI beauty that can identify 103 facial features when capturing selfies, and its AI body camera that can automatically adjust body proportions in real-time for previewing pictures or when live-streaming.

Vivo adds a large 3,940mAh battery, 6GB of memory, 128GB of storage and expandable micro-SD option to the S1, along with a choice of exciting Ice Lake Blue and Pet Pink colors. Out the box it runs Vivo's Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The P70 provides dual 4G SIM for the S1, which means both SIM slots offer 4G LTE connectivity, VoLTE and ViLTE for supreme voice call quality from either connection. This gives users more choice and operator freedom.
