The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 leads the industry by fully integrating a 5G NR (Sub-6GHz) modem that’s capable of Carrier Aggregation, giving it up to 4.7Gbps performance, full 5G SA/NSA and 2G-5G support and platform power-efficiency beyond direct alternatives.

Most Power Efficient 5G Modem

Despite the extreme complexity of a 5G modem, integrating it into the same tiny piece silicon as the rest of the processing elements gives the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 a distinct an advantage in power efficiency – up to 49% lower power than competitor alternatives, 2X performance, plus the overall platform size is also reduced so brands can use the extra space for other features such as bigger batteries or larger camera sensors. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000 positioning engine is our most accurate ever. It has the most comprehensive coverage of global GNSS constellations via dual-band GNSS that features 25 more L5 bands than any other smartphone chip. When GNSS is unavailable, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 provides the most accurate and longest dead reckoning location performance compared to any other smartphone. To achieve this, our sensor fusion technology intelligently measures several sensors together to provide a highly accurate position.
