Signal 65 has investigated, tested, and written a white paper that fully details the performance of the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 in ChromeOS. The paper covers testing every subsystem within the chip, including power efficiency, thermal performance, and AI performance, as well as how the chip performs in specific real-world scenarios for education, enterprise, and consumer applications.
The performance analysis was conducted against direct x86 competing platforms, with Signal 65 concluding that there are numerous advantages. For example, there is 33% longer battery life for student workloads, 74% better battery life in virtual conferencing, and up to 52% more performance for enterprise users. It also delivers faster web browsing and gaming for consumers while consuming half the power compared to x86 alternatives.
