MediaTek and Tencent Cloud have established a strategic partnership to create an “edge-device-cloud” ecosystem with a goal of jointly developing next-generation intelligent cockpit systems with integrated mobile experiences. It brings together on-device AI from the MediaTek Dimensity Automotive Cockpit Platform, edge processing via flagship Dimensity 5G smartphone processors, and cloud capabilities powered by Tencent Hy Model and Intelligent Cockpit TAI solutions.
Meanwhile, MediaTek’s Ambient AI Framework enables efficient task distribution across device, edge, and cloud, ensuring highly responsive and coordinated performance. This unified model reduces the separation between smartphones, vehicles, and digital services, resulting in more seamless and secure interactions across devices.
Through this partnership, MediaTek and Tencent Cloud aim to create intelligent cockpits that become adaptive companions, anticipating and responding to user needs, effectively transforming vehicles into a "third living space."
