Welcome to MediaTek’s 2026 Analyst Day where we host the industry’s top technology analysts and analyst firms who are subject matter experts across markets and industries. The day – which features MediaTek GMs, VPs, business unit leads, technology experts, and key partners – is dedicated to giving a holistic understanding of MediaTek’s business portfolio, technologies, products, and an inside look into our long-term strategy.
During the event, MediaTek will share its strategic vision for the year ahead and beyond, while also providing insights into our roadmap, key growth areas, and trends shaping the global technology landscape.

Vice President & General Manager, Global Marketing and Communications
With over three decades of experience in marketing, communications, and business development, Rahul Sandil is a global marketing leader passionate about building brands, empowering teams, and delivering impactful results across industries. As Vice President and General Manager of Global Marketing and Communications at MediaTek, he serves as the company’s chief MARCOM executive, overseeing global brand strategy, marketing innovation, strategic partnerships, and corporate communications that connect leading-edge technology with audiences worldwide.
Previously, Sandil held leadership roles at Micron Technology, where he was responsible for corporate marketing, as well as at other global organizations in the technology, digital media, and entertainment sectors, including Microsoft, Amazon, HTC, and others. As a board advisor, mentor, and consultant, he has leveraged his expertise in AI, emerging technologies, and advanced digital marketing to help companies achieve sustainable growth.
Eric Fisher
Corporate Vice President
Eric Fisher is Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales at MediaTek, located in North America. Before joining MediaTek, Fisher previously held the role as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Applications for Acacia Communications Inc. In this position, Fisher was responsible for leading global field operations including worldwide sales, field application engineering, customer operations, and centralized customer applications engineering.
Prior, Fisher was Vice President, Americas Sales for Intel Corporation and aided in developing and carrying out Intel’s growth strategy in North America, Mexico, and South America, targeting the cloud, data center, industrial, and broadcast market segments. He has held other previous roles at Altera (acquired by Intel), Texas Instruments, and PMC Sierra.
Anki Nalamalpu
VP & Senior GM — Data Center and AI
Anki Nalamalpu is Vice President & Senior GM, Data Center and Artificial Intelligence at MediaTek. His responsibilities include corporate strategy, technology, IP and architecture planning, platform engineering, and customer engagements for data center and AI applications. Prior to joining MediaTek, he worked at Intel for over 24 years, most recently serving as an Intel Fellow in the Datacenter & AI group.
Jasbinder Bhoot
Vice President & GM, Enterprise ASIC
Jasbinder (Jazz) Bhoot is Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise ASIC, USA at MediaTek. He oversees the business unit’s strategic direction, product development, and market expansion. He brings over 25 years of experience to the semiconductor industry through various roles across marketing and product management at major technology companies. In prior roles, he has held key business management and technical positions—including managing partner solutions teams, IP, design services, EDA, and ASSPs—at leading technology companies.
PD Rajput
VP, Computing Platforms
PD Rajput is Vice President of Computing Platforms at MediaTek, where he leads the product strategy and business growth for MediaTek computing products including AI Workstations, Chromebooks, and Android based OS systems. Prior to joining MediaTek, Rajput spent over 12 years at Intel, where he held a range of product management, strategy and engineering roles focused on GPU architecture, data center infrastructure, and cloud computing platforms.
Sameer Sharma
AVP of MediaTek's Internet of Things Business (Americas & Europe)
Sameer Sharma is Associate Vice President and General Manager of AIOT BU (Americas & Europe) at MediaTek. He is a thought leader and serial-intrapreneur in the edge to cloud AI/IOT ecosystem, having driven multiple strategic initiatives to scale over the past 24 years.
Prior to his current role, he was the Global GM (New Business Initiatives) for AIOT/5G Solutions at Intel. He led a global team that incubated and scaled new growth categories and business models to a $600M+ run-rate business (with one of the highest growth areas across company). His team also focused on establishing leadership across the industry, playing a pivotal role in deploying solutions for the development of smart cities around the world – an important effort in furthering the goal of sustainability. These solutions include intelligent transportation, public safety, sustainability, and private 5G deployments. Sameer has served on multiple boards including MIT Mobility Initiative, ENO Center for Transportation, and a globally leading video analytics company. Prior to that, he has successfully scaled multiple new initiatives in cloud/data center, mobile, and embedded. This work spanned hardware and software focus for the first Xeon product, network processors, Infineon wireless acquisition, and iPhone design win.
James Chen
Vice President, Product Technology Marketing
Dr. James C. Chen leads Product Technology Marketing for MediaTek. Based in San Jose, California, he spearheads product marketing and go-to-market strategies of MediaTek’s products in automotive, broadband, enterprise, retail, smartphones, wearables, and other market segments for Tier-1 customers.
Prior to MediaTek, he was at Quantenna Communications, a fabless semiconductor company focused on operator Wi-Fi solutions, where he served as Vice President of Product Marketing overseeing the company’s entire inbound as well as outbound marketing activities. Prior to Quantenna, James held senior Product Marketing positions in Broadcom, where he managed 4G LTE modems for smart phones, as well as Marvell Semiconductor, where he was a founding member of the Wi-Fi business unit.
He has published over 30 technical papers and has been granted over 10 patents. In his spare time, Chen is an avid tennis player and enjoys watching engrossing dramas and documentaries. Chen’s 15 seconds of fame is that he once stood next to Steve Jobs in an elevator and asked him why he didn’t wear a watch.
Kevin Keating
Director of Global Communications
Kevin Keating is the US Director of Global Communications. He joined the company in 2015. Keating works on corporate messaging and strategy, marketing campaigns, content development and drives media relations and communications.
Prior to MediaTek, Keating headed communications, PR and marketing programs for global brands, including for Motorola, AT&T and was the global communications director for the Bluetooth SIG. He founded a developer and technology marketing consulting firm that specialized in developer relations, including for brands like Nokia.
Keating holds an MA in Journalism and is a former award-winning journalist. Along with a team of reporters, Keating was a finalist for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize while working for The Spokesman-Review.
John Solomon
VP and GM ChromeOS & Education at Google
In the Education space, his team’s mission is to transform Learning and Teaching at Scale. The team is responsible for the development of the Google Classroom platform, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks, and for the global deployment and scale of these products.
For ChromeOS John is responsible for the development of all aspects of the strategy, product development, and Go-to-Market for Chromebooks across all user segments. He and his team work closely with an ecosystem of developers and technology providers to develop and deliver faster, simpler and more secure computers for users.
John is a highly versatile and strategic technology business leader. Before joining Google, John was the VP of Enterprise and Government at Apple, leading the company’s strategic focus on the US enterprise market across private and public sectors. Prior to that, he had a long career at HP Inc. culminating in multiple Senior Vice-President roles across both Printing and PC business units, responsible for a significant portion of the companies revenue and profit.
John has long been involved in the intersection of technology and education, he currently serves on the board of Team4Tech, a leading Ed Tech not-for-profit impact accelerator. In his spare time, he also advises a range of start-ups on how to profitably scale their businesses.
John earned his MBA in Business from the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University of Stellenbosch (South Africa).
