We recently wrapped up the 2023 MediaTek Executive Summit in the beautiful Laguna Niguel. It’s where MediaTek launched new products, showcased our strong industry partnerships, shared our vision for the future of the company, and delivered immersive technology experiences.Media, analysts, and influencers at Summit went on a deep dive into the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9300, learning about how the chip’s innovative all big core design delivers unmatched 5G user experiences in mobile gaming, video capture, and on-device generative AI processing. Attendees got hands-on experience with the first Dimensity 9300-powered phone, the Vivo X100 Pro.
During Summit sessions with our executive team and business unit leaders, MediaTek made three key product and technology announcements: The introduction of the MediaTek Filogic 860 and Filogic 360 solutions for Wi-Fi 7, the expansion of its modem and chipset family to support 5G RedCap, and the winners of MediaTek’s inaugural Expect Incredible Awards. Attendees also got an early look at the MediaTek Dimensity 8300, a high-performance and power-efficient chipset that is redefining premium experiences in 5G smartphones.
MediaTek brought a few special guests to the Summit stage this year, including Jean Boufarhat, vice president at Meta to discuss MediaTek’s partnership in augmented reality, Ali Kani, vice president and general manager at Nvidia to dive deeper into the partnership with MediaTek for automotive, and skating legend and video game entrepreneur Tony Hawk to explore how MediaTek’s technology helps create interactive, immersive gaming experiences.
