MediaTek Helio P10 is the first P Series smartphone chip. As the world’s first product to use TSMC’s 28nm HPC+ process, the Helio P10 reduces processor power consumption by up to 30% compared to existing smartphone SoCs manufactured using alternative 28nm processes.
Upgrading 4G Power Efficiency
The MT6300 is an Envelope Tracking Module (ETM) designed to complement MediaTek’s CAT‑6 modem. It monitors the voltage supplied to the RF power amplifier in real‑time and makes continuous, fine‑grained adjustments to optimize the amplifier’s efficiency.
By ensuring the power amplifier operates at peak efficiency, the module reduces heat generation in the phone, particularly during LTE‑A and Carrier Aggregation use. MediaTek’s ETM can save up to 20% of current at maximum output power.
