The MediaTek MT9681 is a premium display SoC designed for premium 4K120 commercial displays, such as conference rooms, educational interactive devices, smart projection, smart desktop display equipment, and other home, commercial, professional, or educational use cases.

        The MT9681 combines a high-performance mix of all big core CPU, graphics engine, integrated 4K120 MEMC, an advanced 4K video decoder, and a dedicated NPU for AI-picture and audio quality enhancements.

        MT9681 can decode 4K60 video streams using common multimedia formats such as HEVC, VP9 and AV1.

         

        4K UI with OSD PQ Enhancement

        MT9681 supports a native 4K UI, improving the user experience with pixel-sharp apps and smooth 60fps experiences.

        The OSD also receives PQ enhancements, providing a richer experience for users.

        Real-time AI Quality Enhancement

        MediaTek’s AI image quality enhancement technology (AI-PQ) can recognize faces and scenes in real-time, automatically adjusting the image color saturation, contrast, clarity, and performing noise reduction. 

        MediaTek AI audio technology (AI-AQ) can intelligently recognize scenes in real-time and apply optimal sound settings.

        AI-Super Resolution (AI-SR) intelligently upscales lower resolution video streams to match the native display resolution.
