The MediaTek MT8768T is designed for highly mobile and capable tablet devices with global cellular connectivity. It combines an octa-core Arm-Cortex A53 MPCore^TM CPU with Arm NEON engine operating up to 2.3GHz with a powerful IMG PowerVR GE8320-class graphics processor. These offer the processing power necessary to support the latest OpenOS along with its demanding applications such as web browsing and email, apps and services, global navigation and 3D games.

Flexible memory and storage options means brands can choose performance levels to meet usage requirements or plan several products at different price-points around a single platform, saving development time and cost.

MT8768T supports up FullHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080) touchscreen displays. A multi-standard video accelerator and an advanced audio subsystem are also integrated to provide power-efficient playback of advanced multimedia applications and audio/video content from local storage or streaming services, with decode acceleration for up to FullHD HEVC content.

Large camera sensors up to 25MP@30fps and hardware dual-cameras up to 13+13MP are supported, with video encoding acceleration up to FullHD using h264 at 30fps.

The MT8768T embeds a connectivity system that includes 4G LTE Cat-7 modem, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GNSS. The 4G WorldMode modem also supports fallback to various 3G/2G standards (HSPA, 3G, EDGE and GPRS) depending on the connectivity environment. Dual 4G SIM is supported, allowing users the flexibility to choose carriers and services, with an equal experience from both connections.

With four advanced radio technologies integrated into one single chip, MT8768T provides the most convenient connectivity solution in the industry. It allows simultaneous voice, data and audio/video transmission on devices, while the small footprint with low-power consumption greatly reduces the PCB layout resource.
