MediaTek T830
The MediaTek T830 is a premium CPE platform featuring an integrated 5G modem with sub-6GHz connectivity, a powerful quad-core CPU, hardware-based network acceleration engine (MediaTek NPE), and options of Wi-Fi 6/6E/7. The full-featured SoC enables device makers to build extremely high performance multi-gigabit CPE products, such as fixed wireless access (FWA) routers and mobile hotspots (Mi-Fi), in the smallest form factors possible.

Multi-gigabit Connectivity In and Out
The MediaTek T830 platform connectivity includes a main SoC including 4G/5G modem, plus FR1 Transceivers, GNSS receiver, and PMICs. This highly integrated platform minimizes component count, giving product designers the smallest size and the lowest power consumption to work with.
Device makers can tailor this single platform to suit various target markets, with pre-integrated software drivers available for MediaTek Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo solutions including MediaTek Filogic 650 (Wi-Fi 6E), and 680 (Wi-Fi 7). An USXGMII port is available, providing up to 10Gbps Ethernet, or used for a wide range of LAN port configurations via switch.
Peripheral connectivity includes PCI-Express, USB, USXGMII, plus PCM/SPI interface for RJ11 phone lines.
5G-integrated SoC
The T830 SoC features a fully integrated 3GPP Release-16 5G cellular modem, powerful Arm Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU, a MediaTek-designed Network Processing Unit (NPU) that hardware QoS acceleration and Tunneling Offload Engine for VLAN / PPTP / L2TP / GRE. The NPU is designed for full performance throughput between 5G cellular to Ethernet or Wi-Fi, without CPU involvement. MediaTek 5G UltraSave power-efficiency enhancements ensure optimal energy efficiency in all 5G connection conditions.
Cellular capabilities include both 5G NSA/SA support, with sub-6GHz connections up to 4CC-CA plus mixed duplex FDD/TDD support. The T830 is capable of dual 5G SIM (DSDS), depending on device maker requirements.
