      Real-time AI Image Quality Enhancement

      MediaTek’s advanced AI image quality technology (AI-PQ) is a real-time enhancement technology that recognizes faces and scenes in the video stream. When combined with MediaTek MiraVision display enhancement technology, the intelligent recognition can automatically fine-tune color saturation, brightness, sharpness, reduced noise and dynamic motion compensation to enhance the overall visual experience.

      Dedicated 4K Video Decoding Engine

      MT9629 can decode 4K60 video streams using common multimedia formats such as HEVC, VP9 and AV1.
