The MT7686 is a highly-integrated single chip offering an ARM Cortex-M4 with floating point unit, a low-power 1T1R 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi subsystem and a Power Management Unit. Extensive peripheral connectivity includes SDIO I/F, UART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PWM, and auxiliary ADC. It can be used for worldwide appliances thanks to its wide temperature range, use of Ultra Low-Power (ULP) technology, support for wide-range Wi-Fi and its security features.

The MT7686 contains 4MB of embedded RAM and 4MB of embedded Flash memory making it an ideal platform for rich data and storage applications.
