Utilization of Diverse Channels to Strengthen Employee Communication
Strengthening Consensus Via Global Manager Communication Meetings and Employee All-Hands Meeting by Organization
MediaTek promotes transparent information flow and two-way communication. We hold company-wide global manager communication meetings quarterly, and 4 such sessions were held in 2025, with over 9,300 participants joining globally. Our CEO and President took turns sharing the Company’s business, technological development and future outlook with managers globally, in addition to management mindset addressing questions from the audiences. Managers were thus given first-hand information and thoughts from leaders of our management team. The Company also encourages organizations and teams to convene all-employee communication meetings on a regular basis to deliver timely information while also enable employees to express their thoughts and opinion directly.
Internal Employee E-Newsletter: Shaping and Promoting Cultural Values
Since 2022, the MediaTeker Hub Newsletter was launched as a bimonthly bilingual (Mandarin-English) e-newsletter. Through interviews and featured stories, organizational strategies, corporate culture, important news, and so on. are presented in short reports with lively visual design to help employees gain a better understanding of our Company. In addition, through the highlights of activities around the world, we are able to showcase the energetic side of our employees and unite employees from dierent regions. In 2025, 6 issues were released, attracting the average readership of 1,700 individuals per issue.
Diverse Employee Feedback Channels
MediaTek has established an employee grievance mechanism and, ensuring a fair and impartial workplace through a well-constructed system and rigorous case management. In 2025, the Company received 8 grievance cases and took disciplinary actions against the offending parties in accordance with its internal disciplinary procedures. For each validated case, the investigation committee implemented appropriate corrective or preventive measures based on the incident’s severity, its impact on the victim, and internal precedents. These measures included offering support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), conducting mandatory awareness training, and promoting interpersonal boundaries within relevant departments, ensuring a zero-tolerance approach toward any form of unlawful workplace conduct.

The Company also reinforced training on topics such as sexual harassment involving an abuse of power and bullying prevention to deter future incidents. In collaboration with the Legal Department, MediaTek launched workplace misconduct and infringement prevention training for managers, with 1,557 participants completing the program.

Promoting Sustainability Through a Family Day that Combines Employee Care and Environmental Responsibility
2025 Headquarters Family Day – “MediaTek Spirit: All In”
In 2025, MediaTek held its Family Day event at the Taipei Dome under the theme “MediaTek Spirit: All In”, setting a record as the largest single-session corporate baseball event ever held. More than 25,000 employees and family members participated.
The event centered around a baseball game, post-game concert, and large-scale family cheering activities. It not only strengthened employees’ cohesion but also demonstrated the Company’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability values.
A total of 99% of participants entered the venue using electronic tickets and digital event passes, achieving paperless check-in and actively putting green sustainability principles into practice.
Embedding ESG in the Event: Every Hit Supports Sustainability
MediaTek incorporated ESG concepts into the event. Regardless of the home or visiting team, a donation of NT$10,000 was made for every hit, with an additional donation of NT$280,000 for every home run. The Company further increased the total donation amount to NT$1 million, which was donated to the Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture Foundation. MediaTek will continue to work with the Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture
Foundation to extend this sustainability initiative through corporate volunteer activities focusing on coastal forest maintenance. In 2026, employees will be invited to participate in a volunteer tree-planting program, translating each employee’s participation into positive social impact.
MediaTek 28th Anniversary Celebration: “Our Continuous Journey Together”
Under the theme “Our Continuous Journey Together,” MediaTek celebrated its 28th anniversary by focusing on global employee participation in green actions and promoting sustainability concepts in both daily life and the workplace. The anniversary celebration not only highlighted employees’ efforts in driving charitable causes across different countries, but also encouraged every employee to contribute to environmental sustainability through various initiatives and innovative activities.
To promote environmental awareness, MediaTek launched “Global Go Green Week” in 2023. In 2025, more than 12,000 employees worldwide were mobilized in the Green Diet Fortnight campaign, promoting sustainable eating habits and carbon reduction efforts. Employees were encouraged to bring their own lunch boxes and reusable cups and to choose whole foods and vegetarian meal options, helping strengthen environmental awareness and action. The anniversary celebration emphasized that every green action and small change is an important step toward a sustainable future. Whether through donating denim, adopting green eating habits, planting trees, participating in environmental volunteer activities, or supporting resource recycling, MediaTek encouraged employees worldwide to work together to protect the planet and integrate sustainability and social contribution into everyday life, work, and corporate culture.
Global Volunteer Activities
In addition to environmental initiatives, MediaTek continues to drive social impact through volunteerism. In 2024, the company hosted the inaugural MediaTek Global Outstanding Volunteer Award. The program received 28 nominations, whose collective efforts benefited 20,000 organizations and individuals while nurturing a network of over 600 volunteers. The program not only recognized employees who actively engaged in volunteer service but also inspired greater participation by sharing their stories, thereby amplifying positive impact and fostering a virtuous cycle of social good. Since 2025, MediaTek has partnered with external nonprofit organizations to drive corporate volunteering activities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The Company has actively established an inclusive and accessible volunteer framework, organizing diverse and representative quarterly activities across key areas, including educational support, environmental sustainability, care for the underprivileged, and community development. These efforts demonstrate MediaTek’s long-term commitment to addressing diverse social issues and deepening its connection with local communities.

Global Go Green: Environmental Initiatives Across Global Offices
- Global Offices: Employees worldwide participated in an online tree-planting challenge through a web-based game. With 2,712 engagement logs captured , the activity seamlessly linked environmental advocacy with digital interaction and driving higher employee engagement.
- Headquarters: Through the “Love the Earth, Donate Your Denim” campaign, more than 150 employees participated and contributed over 400 denim items. The initiative promoted the reduction of water consumption associated with new denim production and encouraged resource recycling and reuse. Based on Fairtrade International data indicating that approximately 10,850 liters of water are required to produce one pair of jeans, the campaign is estimated to have saved 4,340,000 liters of drinking water and enabled the repurposing of more than 180 garments.
- China Offices: Organized “Barter Party” and “Clean Plate Campaign” that promoted the reuse of second-hand items and minimize food waste, helping employees incorporate sustainable practices into their daily lives.
- Singapore, Japan, and South Korea Offices: Launched a 28-Day Green Action Challenge covering topics such as sustainable consumption and eco-conscious workplace practices. With different theme featured each week, the initiative encouraged employees to adopt sustainable habits.
- India Office: Volunteers selected from various departments planted 28 saplings symbolizing sustainability. These will be transplanted to the new office at the end of the year to infuse the new workspace with green vitality.
- United Kingdom Office: Mobilized employees to join community clean-up drives, enhancing the local public environment through dedicated volunteer efforts.
